Abstract

This formative evaluation identified facilitators and barriers to the switch to online learning and evaluated the effectiveness of teaching introductory psychology courses online. Recommendations include focusing on community: Deliver content asynchronously, provide optional synchronous meetings for discussions, and implement a structured means for students to communicate with each other.
