Abstract

Cultural knowledge and understanding are emphasized in the teaching of psychology. However, faculty often lack adequate training and comfort in responding to racial microinvalidations in the classroom. The purpose of this poster presentation is to highlight the importance of addressing racially inappropriate comments and to provide strategies for doing so.
