Weight Framing in Introductory Psychology Textbooks

The assumed relationship between weight and health is called the weight-centered health paradigm (WCHP). Researchers have attempted to shift this paradigm by offering evidence to support new paradigms and highlighting weaknesses with the existing paradigm. This research analyzed textbooks to determine to what extent they are promulgators of the WCHP.
