Expert Testimony in Title VII Litigation: Congruence with Primary Studies and Meta-Analytic Reviews

To investigate the basis in peer-reviewed evidence of expert testimony in Title VII cases involving selection of safety forces, depositions and trial testimony were compared to over 50 narrative and meta-analytic reviews. The result led to a questioning of the degree to which expert testimony reflects the research base.
