On Moral Expansiveness: Roots, Predictors, and Implications for Improving Intergroup Relations
What are the things that we think matter morally? This symposium investigates factors that shape the ascription of moral worth to different entities and how these decisions are connected to intergroup attitudes. We also discuss if expanding moral concern toward non-human entities helps overcome biases against human outgroups.
