Increasing the Provision of Support to People with Depression: Attribution Theory, Moral Elevation, and Vested Interest Theory
This symposium presents theory-guided experimental and pre-registered studies examining how to increase support for people with depression. Whether guided by attribution theory, moral elevation research, or vested interest theory, each presentation chronicles the impact of different approaches for increasing sympathy, reducing anger, and increasing support for people with depression.
