Predicting to Prevent: Using Modern Modeling Techniques to Predict Transdiagnostic Features of Physical and Mental Health

Across diagnostic categories, there exist events that signal acute and chronic risk to health and well-being (e.g., disordered eating, episodes of physical pain, substance use, suicide attempts). This symposium gathers researchers to discuss a new generation of work using intensive longitudinal data to predict these events before they occur.
