The Prevalence and Prediction of Resilience and Thriving in the Face of Trauma and Psychopathology
A sizable group of people experience long-term positive outcomes in response to trauma and psychopathology. We estimate the prevalence of these positive outcomes and identify potential psychological mechanisms associated with resilience and thriving. New directions for mental health treatment emerge from studying this important yet neglected topic.
