Living in an Uncertain World: Impacts of Uncertainty on Cognition, Affect, and Behavior
Uncertainty is inherent in our daily lives. Importantly, each individual’s tolerance of uncertainty strongly impacts their unique cognitive, affective, and behavioral responses. The proposed symposium will highlight recent research findings on how uncertainty impacts functioning across both clinical and non-clinical samples, pointing to key directions for future research.
