The Sequelae of Traumatic Experiences across the Lifespan
Within traumatized populations, outcomes and mechanisms of change are complex and myriad. This symposium explores the sequelae of trauma across experiences of child maltreatment, sexual assault, and natural disaster, with foci on posttraumatic stress disorder, emotion dysregulation, impulsivity, substance use, self-efficacy, social support, and coping.
