Title: Effect of Anodal Stimulation on Effort-Related Cardiovascular Measures
This study tested the effect of tDCS on effort during a difficult working memory task. This work shows that effort is higher in the anodal stimulation condition and low in the control conditions, indicating disengagement. This work suggests that tDCS enables people to remain engaged in a subjectively demanding task.
