Associations between Exposure to Adversity and Child Well-Being: Assessing the Role of Emotion Regulation
Children exposed to adversity (e.g., family-level poverty, high levels of maternal stress or trauma) are at significantly higher risk of developing a wide range of psychological and physical health difficulties. This symposium aims to elucidate the role of child and parent-level emotion regulation in these important associations.
