- Courtny Franco

Abstract
Thanabotany suggests that plants foster meaning-making and meaning reconstruction between the bereaved and their deceased. The proposed study investigates the role individual characteristics (e.g., sex, age, education, occupation, income), funeral knowledge, and connectedness to nature play on adults’ funeral preferences. Environmentalism may mediate the relationship between funeral knowledge and choices.
