Evidence Accumulation Is Modulated By Stimulus-Consistency

Virtual

Oral · Cognitive Psychology

The algorithm of integration-to-boundary successfully accounts for a wide range of data, however, tracking the decision-boundary has proven elusive. Here, we developed a model-free method, which allowed us to monitor the decision-boundary and to identify a novel integration-bias, whereby incoming evidence is modulated based on its consistency with previous evidence.
