COVID-19 and Mental Health Among at-Risk University Students: An Prospective Study into Risk and Protective Factors
Effects of the COVID-19 were studied in 685 at-risk university students, assessing mental health before and during lockdown. Network modelling was used to explore factors predicting changes. Mental health problems increased at group level. Important protective factors were emotional support and adaptive coping strategies, which can be targeted by interventions.
