The Relationship between Working Memory Capacity and Eyewitness Memory Accuracy

Virtual

Oral · Cognitive Psychology

Eyewitnesses, although unreliable, are often used in the criminal justice system. We investigated whether working memory capacity was associated with eyewitness memory accuracy. We measured working memory capacity (WMC) and eyewitness memory of a staged crime. A one-way ANOVA found no statistical significant difference between three levels of WMC.
