Drivers of Compliance with Public Health Measures in Kyrgyzstan during a Global Pandemic

Virtual

Oral · Social Psychology

Participants in Kyrgyzstan (N=1000) self-reported their compliance with COVID-19 public health measures, such as wearing a mask in public. A relative weights analysis showed that perceptions of their family and community’s attitudes were stronger drivers of compliance than risk perceptions and the perceived attitudes of government and religious leaders.
