The Role of Personality Dimensions in the Development of Spatial Behavior Patterns: Openness and Conscientiousness Predict Real-World Choices about Location
Across multiple semesters, seat choices from a medium-sized lecture hall were recorded and compared to several personality measures. Participants (N=209) were free to choose from 11 rows of seats. Results show that the front rows scored higher on two personality factors: Openness (O) and Conscientiousness (C).
