Negative Current Mood Impacts Involuntary Attentional Biases Towards Emotional Stimuli

Virtual

Oral · Cognitive Psychology

Using an emotional cueing task, this study observed that stimulus valence impacts attentional biases for only low arousal images. Furthermore, during short stimulus presentation times, an attentional bias towards positive over negative images was found in individuals with low, but not high negative mood.
