Does Multicultural Socialization Predict Ethnic Identity, Multicultural Attitude and Interethnic Friendship of Malaysian Children?

The study explored multicultural socialization and attitude, ethnic identity, and interethnic friendship among Malaysian children. Results showed that multicultural socialization predicted ethnic identity and multicultural attitude but not interethnic friendship. Older children had stronger ethnic identity and multicultural attitude, and ethnic identity predicted psychological well-being and mental health.
