A Statistical Approach for Identifying Redundant Items in Large Datasets with Extensive Missingness: An Empirical Example in Network Modeling
Subject Area: Methodology
Network modeling is useful for investigating relationships among many psychopathology symptoms simultaneously. But missing data and redundant items can make model estimation and interpretation challenging. In high-quality empirical data, we extend one tool for identifying redundancies to the missing data case and offer insight for researchers dealing with extensive missingness.
