Working during COVID-19: A Seven-Wave Study of Work and Mental Health-Related Outcomes

Over seven months early in the COVID-19 pandemic, 539 working Americans reported initial high mental health concerns and financial insecurity that levelled off after three months and that for those working from home, rather than in the community, work provided a sense of normalcy and control.
