Perception-Action Calibration As a Function of Judgment Method and Feedback Type

We investigated perception-action calibration in virtual reality using a novel combination of terminal versus concurrent feedback with three types of distance judgments: verbal report, blind-reaching, and haptic matching. Feedback was provided only after reaching, but generalized to all judgment types, as measured by improvement in both accuracy and precision.
