First-Time Juvenile Arrestees' ODD Symptoms: The Role of Parent-School Interactions and Race
In order to examine how race moderates the impact of parent-school interactions on ODD symptoms for justice-involved youth, data was collected for three years using the PTIQ and the DISC-C. Greater parental involvement predicted increased symptom counts for ethnic-racial minority youths, while greater parent-teacher trust predicted decreases for White youths.
