Good Guys with Guns? Exploring the Violent and Aggressive Tendencies of Male Gun Carriers in the United States

United States’ men completed a cross-sectional study of aggressive behaviors and aggression-supporting traits. Results indicated that gun carriers perpetrated more aggressive behaviors and held more aggression-supporting traits than non-carriers and non-gun owners. The results suggest that gun carriers may endanger citizens beyond the crime they intend to thwart.
