Childhood Adversity Predicts General Mood and Mental Health During the COVID-19 Pandemic in the ABCD Study® Cohort
Prior experiences of childhood adversity significantly predicted poorer general mental health and greater COVID-19 related distress during the COVID-19 pandemic in a large and diverse sample of emerging adolescents. Our findings highlight a risk factor to optimize targeted intervention efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
