Parental Psychopathy and Child Conduct Disorder: The Mediating Role of Proactive Aggression.

While parental psychopathy is associated with offspring conduct disorder, the pathway accounting for this intergenerational transmission is not well understood. We found that proactive aggression (but not reactive) was found to play a mediating role in the relationship between parental psychopathy and child conduct disorder.
