The Role of a Playful Learning Approach in the Relationship Among Explanatory Styles and Goal Orientation
We examined the relationship among explanatory styles (i.e., optimism/pessimism), playful learning, and goal orientation to determine if playful learning promotes learning in adulthood. Results show direct effects and playful learning partially mediates the impact of explanatory style on goal orientation. The importance of playful learning for educational interventions are discussed.
