Weathering the Storm, Remotely: The Effects of Coping on Learning and Academic Wellbeing during the Pandemic

Virtual

Oral · Cognitive Psychology

The present study focused on mediating effects of coping styles on a variety of variables related to educational outcomes, including learning and academic wellbeing, within an emergency remote learning environment. Results suggest that academic wellbeing (operationalized as happiness, connectedness to classmates and school), but not learning, is mediated by coping.
