Undetected Influences: Font Types and Math Performance

Undergraduates completed three mathematical tasks (expression comparison, error identification, and equation-solving) in one of three conditions: Times New Roman, Kalam, and handwriting. Students in the Times New Roman condition were less accurate on the expression comparison task compared to the other conditions, suggesting that font type influences math performance.
