Socioeconomic Status Difference in Responses to Unfair Treatment

Virtual

Oral · Social Psychology

In this experimental study, we found that compared with higher socioeconomic status (SES) individuals, lower SES individuals were likely to perceive an unequal distribution as less unfair and this tendency, in turn, was associated with their passive reactions to such treatment that could contribute to sustaining the existing social inequalities.
