Processing Speed and Inhibitory Control As a Function of Acute Psychosocial Stress in Adolescence

Virtual

Oral · Developmental Psychology

This study used multilevel modeling to measure adolescents’ performance on the Stroop Task from pre-to-post stress. The first model measured changes in processing speed (PS) while the second examined changes in inhibitory control (IC). Adolescents improved PS and IC from pre-to-post acute psychosocial stress exposure.
