Mapping White Matter Microstructure Integrity in Individuals with a History of Bully Behavior

Virtual

Oral · Neuroscience

This study assessed the relationship between bullying behavior and white matter microstructure integrity in the brain. Several neuronal fiber bundles connecting the prefrontal cortex and other regions showed reduced integrity as bullies escalated their bullying, suggesting that deteriorated neuronal pathways underlying emotional and cognitive controls may be associated with bullying.
