Virtual

Oral · Clinical Science

The current study tested whether trait emotional reactivity measured prior to the pandemic impacted the link between COVID-related stressors and future substance use. Moderation analyses revealed that individuals high on emotional reactivity increased engagement in substance use following COVID-related stressors (e.g., social isolation), above and beyond pre-COVID substance use.
