Math Ability Explains, in Part, Why Math-Anxious Adults Are Less Knowledgeable about Finances

This study replicates the finding that math anxiety and financial knowledge are negatively related. We propose this relation may be driven by either math avoidance or math ability. We found evidence to suggest that math ability explains, in part, the relation between math anxiety and financial knowledge.
