The Role of Acute Psychosocial Stress and Early Life Adversity on Inhibitory Control Among Adolescents

This study examined changes in Inhibitory Control (IC) as measured by reaction time and accuracy on the Stroop task from pre- to post-stress among adolescents oversampled for early life adversity. Adolescents with more exposure to adversity showed greater increases in IC from pre- to post- acute stress exposure.
