Agency, Communion, and Social Class

We hypothesized and found that lower classes describe themselves as more communal and less agentic than upper classes, and vice versa, regarding their traits (Study 1) and values (Study 2). The strength of the relationship between social class and agency was comparable to the one between gender and agency.
