Affective Dynamics Are Temporally Dependent: An Examination of Time Scale and Lag Length

Assessing target processes at time scales larger than that at which said processes unfold may result in misleading or inaccurate inferences. In our ecological momentary assessment data, affective dynamics changed across time scales, and there existed individual differences in lag lengths for maximum inertia.
