The Effect of Self-Control on the Relationship between Mental Health and Compliance to Government Regulations during the COVID-19 Pandemic

The study utilized an observational, between-subject design to gather data on 344 participants’ levels of self-control, mental health issues, and compliance to COVID-19 safety regulations. The results indicated that mental health issues and compliance to COVID-19 safety regulations were significantly, positively correlated and that self-control significantly interacted with this relationship.
