The Influence of Early Life Safety Stressors on Romantic Relationships

Utilizing actor partner interdependent modelling, we investigated both the actor and partner effects of violent socialization on attachment style, and romantic relationship outcomes. Our results suggest that experiencing more safety stressors growing up promotes a less constructive attachment style, while also leading to worse relationship outcomes.
