Filling in the Blanks: The Effects of Learning Location and Campus Involvement on Sense of Belonging

We assessed sense of belonging during COVID-19 at a small liberal arts college. Only class standing, and not location of the student nor type of instruction, significantly predicted sense of belonging. First- and second-year students’ exhibited higher levels of sense of belonging than did third- and fourth-year students.
