Towards a Psychology of Sitting: Dynamic Investigations of Daily Sitting Patterns in Working Adults and Cardiovascular Disease Patients

We used a novel dynamic approach to get a detailed picture of people’s daily natural sitting patterns. We found that CVD patients and healthy individuals distribute their sitting behavior differently during the day, and that people show different sitting patterns in the context of work compared to everyday life.
