Social Media 'addiction'? an Attentional Bias Study

The growth of social media has generated a debate about whether excessive use produces the hallmarks of addictive behaviour. Using a cognitive measure of addiction (attentional bias), we assessed whether individual differences in social media use were associated with the strength of an attentional bias to social media stimuli.
