Gaze Cueing, Mental States and the Effect of Autistic Traits

Virtual

Oral · Cognitive Psychology

Mental state attributions are argued to underpin gaze following behaviour. However, recent research has disputed this claim. In two recent studies we demonstrate that spontaneous gaze cueing is modulated by mental state attributions, and that the success of this modulation is influenced by the presence of autistic traits.
