“He Doesn’t Know Anything”: Children’s Judgements of Experts Who Provide Inaccurate Information

Children ages 6-9 viewed an inaccurate expert and explained why the expert provided wrong information and how much the expert knows about their domain. Children rated the expert as less knowledgeable after viewing the inaccurate answers. Their ratings were dependent on why they believed the expert said the information.
