Youth Experiences with the 2020 Black Lives Matter Demonstrations in the United States
In 2020, Black Lives Matter (BLM) demonstrations permeated the public consciousness. The present study is the first to survey youth (N= 4,493; Mean age= 13) directly about their experiences with media and in-person BLM demonstrations. Important differences in the experiences of Black youth compared to other racial groups are highlighted.
