Cannabis Use As a Moderator of Close Friends’ Injunctive Norms and Intentions to Use in a Diverse Student Sample

In the present analysis, intentions to use cannabis were evaluated as a function of close friends’ injunctive norms, frequency of use, and the interaction of the two. Analyses indicate that heavy cannabis users care less about close friends’ injunctive norms regarding intentions to use than do lighter users.
