Is It Monday Yet?: An Investigation into Factors Related to Psychological Detachment from Home at Work

Using the experience sampling method, we examined within-person daily fluctuations in employees’ home demands, psychological detachment from home, and mood at work. Home demands were negatively related to psychological detachment from home while at work; psychological detachment from home at work was related to improved mood at work.
