COVID on the Brain: Anxiety Sensitivity and Mindful Awareness Mediate the Relationship between COVID-19 Obsession and Anxiety

Virtual

Oral · Clinical Science

This study explored anxiety sensitivity and mindful awareness as mediators in the relationship between COVID-19 obsession and anxiety. Analyses support that anxiety sensitivity and mindful awareness were significant mediators, suggesting that increased anxiety sensitivity and decreased mindful awareness may be mechanisms by which COVID-19 obsession results in more generalized anxiety.
