Trends Persist in Implicit and Explicit Attitudes from 2016-2020
With 3.4+million tests of implicit and explicit attitudes (2016-2020), we test the accuracy of timeseries forecasts from past data (2007-2016). We show that long-term attitude trends have persisted: amidst large-scale social events, implicit race, skin-tone and sexuality attitudes have continued decreasing; implicit age, disability, and weight attitudes have remained stagnant.
